Good Day and Good Bye

Yesterday the family went downtown for breakfast with Tiny and Tebo. Afterwards we went to the fabulous Children’s Mercantile toy shop. Torlis located a toddler trampoline and jumped frantically while chortling. I guess she’s found her new “jumperoo!” (We haven’t bought it, but I suppose we’ll have to…)

Then in the evening we had a grillin’ party at Seth and Marion’s. The party was a farewell send-off to John, Elsa and Mateo who are moving to Canadia (as we like to call it) later this month. Mateo and Torlis are a great pair, as both are headstrong, large and in charge. They are the only kids who can tame one another.

Happy trails, Mateo, Elsa and John! Keep in touch! Enjoy not having Shrub as your President!

We also tried a wonderful steak recipe that promises to take a cheap sirloin and make it as tender as tenderloin. While it didn’t get quite that tender, it definitely was a wonderful and luscious steak.

Hey, so much fun to see pictures of Torlis and Dee and everyone! I love your blog and stories and pictures. I dream about Torlis some. Once I dreamed she was sitting on the bottom landing of the stairs and Sunda tripped and to keep from landing on Torlis, Sunda did a double flip into the living room. Torlis clapped and laughed.
Keep on keeping up with up dates. Love you all, Great Auntie Zan (the reverend, doctor, great to you)
